Post-traumatic stress disorder

Experiencing intense fear, helplessness, and horror after experiencing a traumatic/terrifying event

Post-traumatic stress disorder is a severe mental health disorder often triggered by any traumatic/traumatic event - either through personal experience or observing one. Symptoms of PTSD include hallucinations, nightmares, depression, anxiety, and uncontrollable emotions about a traumatic event. Most people who go through bad events may experience problems coping, but they often improve with time and care. If the symptoms worsen, last for an extended period, and interfere with daily activities, one may develop PTSD. Finding effective treatment after the onset of PTSD symptoms can significantly reduce symptoms and improve function. PTSD signs and symptoms are usually categorized into four types:

THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS CAN CAUSE Post-traumatic stress disorder

  • intrusive thoughts
  • aloofness
  • negative thinking and mood changes
  • extreme physical and emotional changes
